Our Power Factor Correction Equipment inspection and report service provides;- PFC suitability check. - The wrong application of power factor correction equipment can create undesirable harmonic related issues on site, which will at best reduce the life expectancy of all equipment connected to your network and at worst take the site outside the ENA G5/4 -1 recommended levels for harmonic distortion.
- Site power factor check – to determine if the existing PFC is of sufficient size to maintain the required power factor level.
- Visual inspection and unit operational check.
- Connection tightness check and Capacitance micro-farad test.
- Relay operational test (where fitted).
- Full report on results, recommendations and any remedial work required.
- Reminder on next recommended inspection visit.
